A new programm on the protection of consumer rights is being launched within the framework of the EU-Armenia Comprehensive and Expanded Partnership Agreement /CEPA/.
The programm is aimed at harmonization of legislative framework and enforcement practices for consumer protection in Armenia to EU best practice, as well as institutional capacity building.
Consumer protection is a top priority for the Competition Protection Commission of Armenia, and the Commission aims to expand framework of its activity in consumer protection. CPC has become a partner of International Consumer Rights Protection and Law Enforcement Network /ICPEN/ since November 2023.
The programm is being implemented with the cooperation of the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection of Poland.
These days we are hosting the first expert mission, and the joint work between the officials of the Competition Protection Commission and Polish experts has already started.
