In June 15, 2023, the 2nd Annual Report titled “The Adoption of Computational Antitrust by Agencies: 2nd Annual Report” (available at the following link: https://papers.ssrn.com/sol3/papers.cfm?abstract_id=4476321) was published.
The report, an outcome of the international “Computational Antitrust” project, was made thanks to the cooperation of competition authorities of 26 countries, including the Competition Protection Commission of the Republic of Armenia. The report represents the new electronic e-compete system introduced by the Competition Protection Commission in 2022. It highlights the system’s features and the toolkits designed to detect potential competition offenses.
The electronic toolkit used by the Competition Protection Commission was also referred to in the 1st Annual Report titled “The Adoption of Computational Antitrust by Agencies: 2021 Report” (available at the following link: https://papers.ssrn.com/sol3/papers.cfm?abstract_id=4142225), which has received global recognition and ranked among the top 10 most-read antitrust publications in 2022.
