Gegham Gevorgyan, Chairman of CPC, had a virtual meeting with Mahmoud Momtaz, Chairman of the Egyptian Competition Authority.
During the meeting the possibilities of deepening cooperation between Competition Authorities of two counties were discussed. Gegham Gevorgyan noted, that international cooperation is one of top priorities of CPC.
,,We continuously are widening our international relations through signing memorandums or implementing different projects with our colleagues from abroad. Armenian and Egyptian Competition Authorities both are members of International Competition network (ICN), also cooperating in the framework of OECD and UNCTAD, which could be a basis for the development of bilateral cooperation’’-added the chairman of CPC, proposing to widen cooperation by signing a Memorandum of Understanding.
Mahmoud Momtaz, Chairman of the Egyptian Competition Authority welcomed the initiative to expand cooperation with the Competition Authority of Armenia. Parties reached an agreements regarding the implementation of further steps.
