Gegham Gevorgyan, Chairman of the Competition Protection Commission of Armenia and Vladimir Naumovski, Chairman of the Commission for Protection of Competition of North Macedonia, signed a Memorandum of Partnership on competition law enforcement and policy.
In his welcoming speech Gegham Gevorgyan noted, that collaboration between competition authorities of Armenia and North Macedonia has started back in 2005 within the frame of OECD Regional Centre for Competition in Budapest. Now the partnership between two authorities is being taken to a higher level, giving a new impetus to the development of mutual cooperation.
After the signing ceremony a presentation on e-Compete electronic platform, launched by the CPC of Armenia, was given.
Within the frame of his working visit to Skopje, Gegham Gevorgyan also had a meeting with Goran Misovski, Vice-President of the Assembly of the Republic of North Macedonia. Issues of mutual interest were discussed during the meeting.
